Big Brother 11 Episode Eighteen RecapBig Brother Episode 18 Recap from August 18th Telecast
A lot of drama took place in the house since last Thursday's episode of Big Brother 11, and some of it was finally depicted in a game-changing episode of Big Brother 11.
Michele won the head of household in the last Big Brother episode, and she placed Natalie and Chima on the block for eviction. The decision didn’t go over very well with either person placed on the block, and many things began happening off-screen that weren’t depicted on the CBS show until the Tuesday, August 18th episode of the show. With Chima not only upset that she was nominated, but very frustrated that Russell had not been evicted from the house, she turned all of her energy towards bucking the power of the head of household as well as the production team at Big Brother. Chima Has a Mental BreakdownWhen Chima found out that she was nominated by Michele she became very upset, and began refusing to follow the Big Brother production rules. In addition to bad-mouthing the production cameras and stating that she wouldn’t be following any rules, she covered up a Big Brother camera with a blanket, and then refused to wear her microphone in the house. When Kevin retrieved it for her, and Natalie handed it to here, Chima grabbed the microphone and tossed it into the hot tub in the back of the house. The Big Brother production team asked Chima to exchange her now destroyed microphone with a new working one in the storage room, and even her friends in the house couldn’t convince her to follow the rules. Instead of doing that, Chima decided to make several extremely crass statements in addition to extending her middle finger to the cameras. All of these actions were unprovoked by anyone in the house, and eventually the Big Brother production team asked Chima to go to the diary room. She refused, and the Executive Producer of the show had to get on the speaker for the house and request Chima come to the diary room to discuss what was going on in the house. Chima Evicted From Big Brother House The Big Brother Executive Producer requested that everyone come to the living room for an announcement. When the house guests gathered in the living room, the announcement was made that Chima was evicted from the Big Brother house due to rule violations in the Big Brother house. Her picture on the memory wall faded to black and white, and the end of Chima as a house guest began to sink in. Kevin was sad that she was gone, while Michele, Jeff, Jordan, and Russell were upset at Chima for bringing this on herself, and not feeling sad at all that she was gone. On the other side of things, Natalie blamed Michele for leading Chima to a break down. Big Brother Nomination Announcement Since Chima quit the game, and was one of Michele’s nominees, her role as head of household was stated to be at an end, meaning a new head of household competition would have to be held, removing Michele from power with barely two days in the role. It didn’t seem like a very fair way for the show to act, but it also made sense at the same time, because one of Chima’s choices had been sent out of the house, even if it wasn’t at the hands of Michele. The downside for Michele was that she was unable to participate in the next head of household competition, leaving the other six house guests competing for the position.
