After violating the rules and angrily confronting producers, Chima Simone became the first woman in Big Brother history to be removed from the show.

Controversy has never been a stranger in the Big Brother House. This season, one of the most controversial players has been Chima Simone, a 32 year-old freelance journalist from West Hollywood, who has blatantly accused producers of rigging the competition, threatened to disrupt the proceedings of live shows, called out the network, and made (allegedly) racist comments to another Houseguest, Russell, due to his Lebanese heritage. She called him a "terrorist" multiple times and compared herself to the "Twin Towers," comments that insulted and offended millions of Americans across the country who were affected by the attacks on 9/11.
The supposedly “live” taping of Thursday, August 13th’s episode was even pre-recorded due to fear of Chima having a meltdown over Jeff using the Coup d’Etat and overthrowing her as Head-of-Household. Very early in the morning on August 15th, the drama continued when Chima was expelled from the game after refusing to comply with producers and angrily confronting them.
Update at 4:45 p.m. 8/15/09: In an official CBS press release, the network confirmed that Chima was removed from the House by producers: "Chima has been evicted by the producers from the Big Brother house for violating the rules. ... Her eviction will be addressed on an upcoming broadcast of the show."
The chain of events apparently started after Chima was nominated alongside her ally Natalie by Michele, who won Head-of-Household during the “live” episode on Thursday, August 13th.
Chima Destroys Her Microphone
Chima joined Kevin, Lydia, and Natalie in the backyard as they were practicing for the upcoming Veto competition. Big Brother producers asked Chima to put on her microphone and she allegedly flipped them off. Kevin then brought her microphone to her, and she threw her microphone into the Jacuzzi, destroying it.
Soon after, Chima was asked to exchange her microphone with a new one in the storage room. She refused, despite Natalie telling her to do what Big Brother asked. Again, Kevin got the microphone for Chima and brought it to her. She insulted the producers through it, but continued to refuse to put the microphone on.
The Live Feeds Black Out
The live feeds were then blacked out for over 90 minutes and when the stream returned, it became clear that Chima was no longer in the House. In the kitchen, Jordan, Jeff, Russell, and Michele discussed the implications that Chima’s exit will have on the remainder of the game, including whether or not Michele will name a replacement nomination, and whether or not there will be another jury member in Chima’s place. A stunned Natalie said that she “expected the unexpected, but not this.”
What Happened During the Black-Out?
Although details are still unconfirmed, the Houseguests were allegedly called into the living room for a meeting with the producers. According to Twitter user Tracy Ellis (‘ladyace67’), executive producer Allison Grodner informed Chima that the cost of the destroyed microphone will be deducted from Chima’s weekly stipend for participating in the show. This sent Chima over the edge and she declared that she wanted out of the game. Ellis also reports that Natalie and Lydia wanted to leave the House along with Chima, but producers were able to calm them down. Chima, however, was screaming at Grodner.
Will Chima Be On The Jury?
As first reported by BB11Dish.com and later confirmed by CBS, Chima will not be a part of the jury house. This means that Big Brother will indeed have to replace the missing juror with a previously evicted Houseguest or give the seventh and final vote to America.
Is This Still A Double-Eviction Week?
What the Houseguests don’t know is that the week of August 17th to 21st was supposed to be a double-eviction week with a week’s work of Big Brother taking place during the live show on Thursday, August 20th. With Chima leaving the House, there is no need for the producers to keep a double eviction unless they intend to end the show one week earlier than planned. It is still unclear whether or not the double eviction will occur on Thursday.
When to Watch
Going by the traditional schedule, the episode on Sunday, August 16th will end with Chima and Natalie being nominated for eviction, so fans will have to wait until Tuesday, August 18th to see what really happened when Chima was expelled from the game. CBS has confirmed that her expulsion will be addressed on a future broadcast.

The game is rigged for the do nothing Jeff and Jordan. Michelle had a
choice this week to either be a follower or step up and be the strongest on
the other side of the house. The only reason she sided with the do nothings
is because she LOVES Jeff. Insanity and truly the game is boring now. All
Jeff Jordan does is sit outside and stare straight ahead while random
nothings come out of Russell's mouth. Jeff will occasionally (quite
frequently) drop three F Bombs in a row after starting the sentence off
with "Dude, I know" after something russell says strikes
interest. And Jordan is definitely the tortoise of the house regardless of
how "sweet" she seems, pure follower and even has admitted she
wants to be 2nd to Jeff.
Chima left the show and thats that. I
do feel she has some valid points and the show has absolutely went to
flatline.

Wow. It was only a game. Didn't she even say that when the other side was
up for eviction? And when their friends got sent home? I understand her
disappointment with the coup d'etat, although personally I cheered Jeff on,
but her temper tantrums were already rediculous. She would cry
"racist" at other houseguests, and then berate Russell for his
race. She revealed her traumatizing experience of rape, and yet wished
that to happen to Russell. What kind of person does that? And all of this
outrage and drama, all because of Jesse. And she almost had Lydia and

Since Jeff won the coup d'etat by an overwhelming margin, it is obvious

what I have noticed is that during first few years the producers put normal
people in the house and the show was good. Then the producers got too smart
for themselves and decided to put crazy people in with normal people to get
crazy things to happen to get ratings. They get what they deserve !!! As

I was so happy to hear that Chima is gone!! Her own GRANDMA said a couple
weeks ago that Chima needed to act with more class. Obviously, that poor
family gave her too much of what Chima wanted and now AMERICA had to pay be

faces and snapping fingers? Chima jumped in Russel's face every chance she

back to what I was taught honesty is the best policy.. or can't say
anything nice don't say anything at all.. Someday we all have to answer for
our lives and that Judge is not man but GOD so let's just be happy we are
going to live another day.. If the good LORD is willing to let us live that
is.. Chima stop using the rape as a crutch you are not the first woman
to be raped or abused.. work on yourself before you become someone you
would not want to be.. Throwing the rape story in was like a slao in the
face to us that have been raped and try to get on with your life in a
better place in your life.. seek help seek GOD, do something to let the
anger go...

Chima is one of the most stuck up women that I have ever seen. Her antics
and rude comments are the most irritating that I have ever heard spoken on
Big Brother. They make you want to call and give her a piece of your mind.
I do not believe her rape story one bit. Someone who had gone through that
would not be so loudmouthed. I'm surprised that she is permitted to even be
a freelance journalist! She has been irritatiable all season long.

I am sorry, I did like Chima at first, but Chima has a very nasty
personality almost like she taught she ran the show and that turned me off,
I dont think she expected them to kick her off, she got mad cause she
wasn't in control of the house anymore, Jessie left so what, you got
nominated so what, ppl fail to realize this is a game and there will only
be ONE WINNER. Some say the show/game was rigged i personally dont think
so, its a game and we all know big brother always throws a twist in every
season, to make the game more interesting. Cant wait for Natalie to get
voted out she gets on my living nerves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you better take care of yourself in the Big Brother house.I know that the
the viewers like some of the termoil but lets not carry it so far that we
forget we are human beings and need to behave in an adult manner,but still
play the game it was meant to be played.

Wow, I can't believe she thought everyone was racist but her. She claimed
Braden was behind his back. She lied. She called HGs "white
trash". She called Russ a Muslim terrorist and herself the twin
towers and LAUGHED, desecrating the memory of those lost in the attacks
that day. The only racist this season was Chima. I have seen black
people raise up and say she was awful. If anyone had treated her the way
she treated others, they would have been kicked off much earlier. She
defiled 9-11 by laughing and joking about it. She is the worst houseguest
ever in BB history.

I missed that episode and I wondered if she got evicted by votes, but know
I know what really happened. This is my first time watching BB and I find
it interesting. Am glad I did channel surfing and found this show...now I
cannot get enough. LOL, I cheered when Jeff used the CDT that was a great
moved on his part. Chima is a disgrace, sore loser and she really needs
help controlling her emotions. She acted like a untrain woman from the
ghetto, and brought shamed to herself and family. Am saying this from
observation and not because she is black, because I'm 30+ black female
myself. The show will go on without her and now it's down to the final
four, and I hope Michelle win POV, and safe herself from going home this
week. Michelle is classy young lady, who remains calm and collective even
after nasty insults and remarks are thrown at her. She wins battles to
keep herself going in this game. Go get them in POV comp! BB is added
to my very short list of reality tv shows to watch. ANTM and BB phat!
